This is the Winners' Showcase Showdown which features previous monthly show winners. While this show isn't supposed to be too serious, any comedian on the billing as a Featured Contestant for a monthly show has a chance of winning and getting to this showdown of past winners. That is how good these PDX comedians who are booked on this show are. Having said that, the cream also rises to the top and to the occasion. What I mean to say is, you should prepare to see a really, really good showcase showdown! It just so happens that all of these Winners' Featured Contestants are women, too. I am not surprised. They are all killers. Trained assassins. Funny AF.
This is entertainment at its finest with a friendly competition for bragging rights and a little extra coin in addition to their paid spots. All talent are paid for their time using a guaranteed rate and a formula rate for contestants which shares the Net Door Revenue between the talent and Misfit PDX Productions LLC.
This is the second Winners' Showcase Showdown and our first at Edgefield Ballroom at McMenamins Edgefield Resort and Hotel in Troutdale, OR. It is a lineup of some of the funniest people in Portland. If you are in the PDX scene, you get it. You could do a documentary of just these folks and it would instantly be a hit.
